A boring Saturday {25/265}

We had lots to do around the house today and errands to catch up on so no time for playing around with the camera.  I did cajole Kate into a Matilda Jane dress (which is not easy these days). But then she insisted on these plaid sneakers that did not match at all.

I know these are not good at all but such is life.  We are busy with baseball, judo, first communion prep etc.  Sometimes I am too busy living to get a good photo.

For waht it's worth Kim, I think these photos are EXACTLY what Project 365 is all about. Instead of perfectly arranged photos, I LOVE that it is kind of a peek into the day to day living we all do. Somedays are filled with excitement...an others are more mundane. I think that you will aprreciate these photos when you look back on this year of family photojournalism.

I LOVE the plaid tennies...and that jaunty little pose Kate struck...so much personality!!!

I love the addition of the plaid sneaks.....they are adorable and Kate is just too cute for words!

I second what Kate said....I am now finding that I am missing the funny pictures or the real life photos because I am always looking for a perfect shot.....that is not what life is about.....reading this post and then seeing Kate's comment really hit home!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend:)

What a hoot! I would take those plaid sneakers any day! We are still in Halloween PJs most of the time! I have a love/hate with this very independent stage!

Kate,
I agree 100% with you. That is what I was trying to convey in a way. Our life is so real and so busy that I cannot take perfect photos everyday. But I also want to improve everyday and I think the more I improve the tougher I am on myself and the more flaws I can see in each photo because my eye is more trained.

Thank you for always being so encouraging and kind:)
