Dailies

The 365 is hanging by thread. I need to get back on track and take a shot each day. The days have been so busy with baseball games and practices nearly everyday, school decisions for Will, summer camp registrations, visitors etc.

I use my camera every single day but I am not really focusing on this project on the last week or 2. I am going to get MUCH better. Anyway, here is what I have for the last several days.

Take time to stop and smell the roses...

Love them all (and I'm so glad to see I'm not the only parent who believes in conservative Easter baskets, I was shocked at some of the things the kids were saying their friends got in their baskets).

I haven't started a 365 because I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up. Life is just so busy, isn't it?

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend.

Hello! I'm a long time reader of both of your blogs! I'm not really good at commenting though so I haven't left a mark yet.

I saved up and purchased my own D-SLR about 6 months ago and have since read through 3 different books on how to properly use it. I've even bought the "camera for dummies" book for my particular model which is a Canon. I understand the basic concept of Apeture and Time modes but unless I use auto, all of my photos come out blurry. Are there any particular books or places you would recommend visiting to learn the advance features of using a D-SLR camera?

Thanks in advance! and thank you for sharing your world with us. Seeing these photos reminds me how beautiful the world really is and believe it or not they make me want to be a better person. You have so much class and grace and your family and home are just an inspiration. I struggle as it is with self doubt and confidence but all I have to do is look at your 365 project and it reminds me of the "Lady" that I hope I can one day be.

God bless all 3 of your peanuts!
